Sistahood rising is more than just a festival
It is a living, breathing temple space created through the love, energy, and devotion of our commUNITY. Every altar, every meal, every decorated corner, every moment of care is the result of women giving their hands and hearts in service.
When you volunteer, you are not “just helping.”
You are stepping into sacred service where the ordinary becomes extraordinary, and the act of giving becomes an offering.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are calling in reliable, capable women who are willing to roll up their sleeves and be part of bringing SR to life. Practical thinking, a flair for decorating, initiative and a WILLINGNESS to step in where needed IS HIGHLY valued.
Volunteer roles may include tasks such as setting up spaces, resetting between workshops, clean up crew, Hearth Crew - helping with meal time flow & wristbands, audio & lighting, cleaning, lifting or helping maintain the flow of the festival.

As part of the volunteer team, you are the very heart of our festival. The work can be physical, demanding but it is also deeply rewarding and rooted in community, connection and shared purpose.

Valued over $700 but the experience PRICELESS!
In exchange, you gift 18 - 24 hours of service across the weekend, depending on your role.
To confirm your place, there is a $88 commitment fee — this helps cover admin costs, and ensures reliability.

Volunteer FAQ
What if I can’t make it after confirming?
Your $88 commitment fee is non-refundable. If you can’t attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can fill your place.
Can I request shifts off during certain workshops or ceremonies?
Yes! Before we create the shift roster, you’ll be asked to share any workshops or ceremonies that are non-negotiables for you. We’ll do our best to create a roster that honours this.
Will I still get time to enjoy the festival?
Absolutely. Shifts are designed so you’ll still have plenty of free time to join workshops, ceremonies, and celebrations.
When will I get my roster?
Rosters will be available once all volunteer confirmations are received. You’ll know your role and shifts before the festival. "FB GROUP IS VITAL for this communication" - Mandy
Can I change roles after I’m assigned?
We’ll try to accommodate changes but roles are allocated based on festival needs. Please choose your Genius Zone wisely when you apply.
