The Ceremony Flow

At the heart of Sistahood Rising are our AllSista Ceremonies — where the whole village gathers as one. These aren’t your typical “woo-woo” rituals, but living, breathing experiences of connection. Through story, song, movement, and drumming, we weave the sacred into the everyday — celebrating sisterhood, spirit, and the simple magic of being together.

Here, we remember that ceremony isn’t something we go to… it’s something we become.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT TO COUNTRY

We gather with deep respect on the sacred lands of the Bindjareb people of the Noongar Nation, where the stories, songs, and spirits of this Country have been alive since time immemorial.

We honour the Traditional Custodians — the women, men, and children who have walked gently here before us — and acknowledge their continuing connection to land, waters, community, and ceremony.

As women gathering in sisterhood, we give thanks for the privilege of being welcomed to share our own stories, songs, and celebrations upon this ancient ground.

May our footsteps honour theirs,
and may the spirit of this Country move through all that we create, sing, and remember together.

WELCOME CIRCLE

As the midday sun warms the village, the drums begin to call us home. One by one, we gather — sisters, friends, old souls and new — circling beneath the trees where laughter, hugs, and tears flow freely.

This isn’t another faceless festival.
This is family — returning to one another.

Our Welcome Circle marks the moment we reconnect: heart to heart, woman to woman, story to story. Together we set our intentions, open our hearts, and remember why we’ve come — to connect, to create, to build commUNITY, and to rise wholeheartedly.

Here, every voice matters. Every woman belongs.
Together, we begin.

FRIDAY EVENING CEREMONY

At the heart of Sistahood Rising are our AllSista Ceremonies — where the whole village gathers as one. These aren’t your typical “woo-woo” rituals, but living, breathing experiences of connection. Through story, song, movement, and drumming, we weave the sacred into the everyday — celebrating sisterhood, spirit, and the simple magic of being together.

SATURDAY Night SOIREE

Step into the magic, darling — this year’s Saturday Night Soirée is inspired by Alice in Wonderland!

Picture this: dining beneath a canopy of stars, candlelight dancing across long, laughter-filled tables, the scent of feast and fire twirling through the night. The Queen of Hearts may make an appearance (if you’re lucky), and the Cheshire Cat might just grin from the shadows.

Expect live music, mesmerising performances, fire twirlers, and — for the first time ever — a DJ to keep you dancing deep into Wonderland’s midnight hour.

It’s more than a dinner… it’s a deliciously mad celebration of sisterhood, sparkle, and pure magic under the moon.

SUNDAY CLOSING CIRCLE

As the drums quiet and the village softens, we gather one last time — hearts full, faces glowing, arms open wide.

The Closing Circle is our moment of gratitude — for the laughter, the tears, the courage, the connection. For the stories shared, the songs sung, and the magic we made together.

We breathe it all in… and then we let it go — trusting that the threads we’ve woven will continue to ripple through our lives long after we leave this place.

There are hugs, laughter, maybe a few tears — and always, the knowing that this isn’t goodbye.
It’s see you next time, sista.
